Easier than extracting a clip and re-uploading with a new title to make it searchable.
Companion tool to subsearch.pages.dev, where this is for those moments which wouldn't be searchable by subtitle dialogue.
Philosophy
Like SubSearch this is something I made a long time ago and have been running in my own personal network for my own media library, and just adapted for online videos here where I largely mirrored my own internal workflow. The initial data on here was just importing the video bookmarks I already have.
I don't like extracted clips because it removes the context and flexibility, ie when I jump in to a moment sometimes I like to go back a little further to watch the lead up, or on the other end sometimes I like to just continue watching the rest of the video. An extracted clip removes any flexibility around that. You can see this in how people always ask for where the source video is in re-uploaded clips. Also an extracted clip is a lot of duplicated video data, where I really just need the metadata of the timestamp and name.
